East African musician with Kenyan – Tanzania roots, Mondy G is gradually becoming a household name in the adversely rising and advancing Music industry.

The uprising talent is a born 1994, August 30th to be precise. He was raised in Makindu Kenya despite being born in Tanga Tanzania hence celebrates an immense territorial base musically .

Music for Mondy G began as a passion way back in Primary School during his interactions with popular music at that time. Lack of Support from his parents, considering the budget constraints with regard to the expenses accrued in the industry, played a huge role in his career molding.

In 2016 Mondy G stepped into a recording studio for the first time to record his first song. He would fatefully have his breakthrough in 2019 with the popular song “Penzi Basi” which became even bigger after the prudent decision to have Tanzania renowned star Matonya, feature in its remix.

The musical style of Mondy G is a blend of Contemporary African rhythm with quite a unique melodic style.
