Man Wazimu born ‘Peter Wagany’ has released a music video on his song titled ‘Ubuntu‘ on ‘Catch A Fire Riddim’. Ubuntu is a song written and performed by ‘Peter Wagany’ aka ‘Man Wazimu, the song tackles ‘Xenophobia’ which is “fear and hatred of strangers or foreigners or of anything that is strange or foreign”. This practice is widely done in South Africa while in other African countries it is done in different ways like the foreskin phobia in Kenya where Luo are at the receiving end but no one considers this as ‘Xenophobia”. Xenophobia includes discrimination based in culture which differs from community to community that can happen within citizens of the same country.
The riddim is produced by Lioness Productions SA a South Africa based production house while the vocals taking, mixing and mastering is done by ‘Kdawg’ in ‘Truce productions” based in Nairobi, Kenya.
